Jiran tetangga, meaning “neighbours” in the Malay language, refers to the people who live near or around us. The term negeri jiran is commonly used to describe Malaysia’s neighbouring countries, such as Singapore, Thailand, and Indonesia.
Jiran tetangga also carries a deeper meaning, underscoring the importance of fostering good relationships through mutual respect, care, and acts of goodwill. As a Singapore based company, FIN is proud to be bring you closer to the friends we regard as family in Malaysia. One such artist we’ve worked very closely with is Syazri from Cultkids.
In our first edition of JIran Tetangga, we’ve designed three artworks with Cultkids, inspired by key personalities and landmarks that were instrumental in shaping the art, historical and cultural landscape of Malaysia.
