Else presents Artist in Residence Eduardo Enrique
28 May – 30 Jul 2023 (Else)
Lost Sanctuary — Else’s first artist-in-residence and exhibition by Eduardo Enrique.
Originally from Venezuela, Enrique is an artist and creative director graduated from Parsons, The New School in New York City, where he started a career working with lifestyle and luxury brands that expands across the United States, Europe, and Asia. It is in this unique combination of global cultural insight and social concern that enables him to occupy a distinct place in the art scene.
With shows such as “New Painting” (2020) and “Brand Love” (2022), Enrique’s approach to art consists of using brands as a medium to create extreme hypothetical examples of consumer seduction and satirize notions of worth in contemporary culture.
Currently based between the Middle East and South East Asia, we are honored to present a new collection of his thought-provoking works at our iconic Lee Rubber heritage building.
We are excited to provide Enrique with a space to inspire his creative vision, and we cannot wait to share the results with our discerning audience. Join us in celebrating Eduardo Enrique’s exceptional artistic talent and unique perspective.
